The more studied case, one that AS tried to debunk calling it an emerging meme, is that Obama's supporters are not, er, versed. Matthews, as a knowing Obama supporter, is probably frustrated with some of the fellow travelers, as much as anything (I gave him the benefit of the doubt).

By the way, looking at Deval Patrick's resume, it's more impressive in some ways than is Barack's. Can we saY the same things about Obama that AS said about Clinton, namely about her being a woman, but not one worth electing as such (because of her lack of feminist credentials)?
I just thought I'd ask; because, looking at the fallout over Michelle Obama's comments, I'm starting to wonder if this election will make great strides to put race behind America, in important ways, or just put it front-and-center, in nettlesome (distracting) ways.
