GOP Preps for Obama

A PATCHWORK RED

If you read about she-who-must-be-ignored, Ann Coulter, on the weekend, you know it's true.

McCain is openly admitting to taking counsel from Karl Rove, even. Mr. Integrity sees no problem having him as an adviser, even though Rove's ducked public accountability as much as Cheney and Scotter-Libby, possibly. ... So much for "restoring" trust in government, eh, John?

"Maverick" McCain is not strong, but weak, in many ways, and his effort to shore-up "conservative base" will pull him in so many directions that the McCain you think you know will be replaced by a patchwork-Red.

Update: "John McCain may be making a mistake in trying to win the hearts of the mindless." - R. Stein
