Happy Hillary

Contrary to some of the punditry, it would be best for only Happy Hillary to show up at tonights debate, not dour Hillary.

One possible message?

"There is indeed a unique moment in history coming up on the heels of this election, that many of you have sensed, intuitively or otherwise. Who better to seize the moment than someone with experience to not lose a single moment of possibility, I ask? There is a lot of waste and re-organization and re-upping involved in "turning the page". If there is an urgency of now, it is to get started right away, with a legislative program that is organized from day one by folks with the experience to do just that."

All this rhetoric about, "You have to choose a President who ...". Yeah, if they are already listening, then they know they have a choice to make. D'oh.

As for Obama, he has to say nothing and appear Presidential, best guess. So far, his campaign hasn't been good at being topical. He might be vulnerable there. When you are the frontrunner, you are in the unenviable position of having to have an opinion on just about everything ...

CNN Question Hour

One has to doubt whether the CNN questions will get any better.

1. A pardon for Bush-Cheney
2. Whether their CIA will tape interrogations
3. Their views on building the Democratic party
4. What "restoring our standing in the world" really means in concrete steps

... the list is long
