Alone At The Top, At Last - The End to Affirmative Action

THE HEAT IS ON, FOR THREE WEEKS IN FEBRUARY, AS OBAMA TRIES ON NEW 'FRONT-RUNNER' SHOES

"The torch has been passed to a new generation, born when horizons were expanding and resolved to see them never recede. A new generation ready to forge a future with an honest heart and an open mind. I say, let any man, young or old, Christian or Muslim, rich or poor, join us, who dare to hope better for their family and for our world in this still young century." [see, I can write this stuff, too ...]

EYES ON THE PRIZE

The tallies for yesterday are in.

In the Chesapeake primaries, as in Georgia and South Carolina, African American voters have sent a clear signal that they want Obama. When the "white men" of Virginia agree in a clear majority, then the Nation is ripe to erase the notion of "black America", in all but idiosyncratic ways.

It's the true end of affirmative action, as it once was conceived, and you are watching it during Black History Month, in 2008, realtime.
