Romney Unhinges - America Surely Dodged That Bullet

Mitt can now go back to wearing nice shirts, ties, and suits (instead of rolling them up) and speaking his mind, instead of mimicking everyone who might vote for him.

GOOD RIDDANCE - AND NO THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

Welling up with tears at points, Willard Mitt Romney decided to keep his money, rather than finish-up a campaign that would be pure consumption, bowing out with a eye-popping speech in front of the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Lauding himself and America's government as "The Hope of the Earth", a phrase that many Christians would withdraw from in horror, he went on to blame liberals for a litany of ills, including a suggestion they might be at the root of fatherlessness.

Whether there will be a Democratic leadership response to his tirade remains to be seen.

In the usual head-in-the-sand Republican-style worthy of Reagan's "Morning in America", Romney declared that Americans had never taken any land for themselves, saving for their war dead. One might recommend to him the classic, Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee. (Perhaps they didn't cover that at BYU? And why not snark about it, when he is so indulgent himself?)

If Romney is any indication, the sheer arrogance of the Right is undiminished.
