The pundits might be wrong. Huckabee* might be saving the Reagan coalition. A lot of the grass-roots evangelicals don't want to "run everything", as does Rove, et. al. They really want to be heard, to be listened to. Huckabee is giving them that privledge, in a party that does shut-out things like declaring a winner so they can stop counting ...
*"Hucklebee" is what I heard an elderly lady calling Mike - he's huckleberry pie, to some of them, you know.
