By the way, let me be the first to call for a special investigation, totally up to $22 million dollars of taxpayer money, into this outrageous set of allegations of consenting adult behavior and influence peddling, just in case we can nail him on the discovery.

McCain plays dumb (like Reagan in arms-for-hostages? like Bush of Monica Goodling, et. al.?). Also pretends aloud he wasn't successfully 'lobbied'. His lawyer prepped him. He said, simply, "No", to all the pertinent questions. (God, Washington is getting better at this ...).
[As a humorous aside, McCain mentions, my friends, "I've been on a lot of airplanes". That the Vets Against McCain have been pushing the number of taxpayer planes that McCain flew into the ground, so to speak, makes that triple-entendre sing.]
The timeline with Vicki might suggest that there was an "intervention". Facts are stubborn things. We need a $22 million dollar investigation. We should interrogate his secretary, first, right? I'm so up for another GOP-styled abuse of the judiciary.
