Despite Delegates, Edwards not "May 20th" today

STILL WAITING FOR MAY 20TH, THEN RULES COMMITTEE MEETING

Edwards brings with him 18 pledged delegates from a few states (19 on some estimates), fewer on Obama campaign's estimates, as best I can read the tea leaves (there appears to be some discrepancies over how Iowa adjusts its delegates).

Sadly, 18 is not enough to achieve tonight what the Obama campaign has planned for May 20th, the "victory" of Hillary being shutout from any chance to win the race for pledged delegates (rather than just having very, very improbable chance).

Edwards also has 13 Florida delegates. One odds-on projection is that these will ultimately get seated with 1/2 vote.

Another 6.5, for a total of 24.5, is still not enough (the total needed goes up, too).

All of Edwards delegates, as best I understand it, are technically free to vote for Clinton, but it's unlikely they would not feel bound by Edwards pledge of support, based on tradition.
