Tales from the scam-like "runoff"

ICKES LAMPOON'S CLINTON'S "VOTES FROM THE PEOPLE" SPEECH

While trying hard to ignore the Democrats' pathetic indulgence in their sham "extended race", I could not help but notice this gem:

But Ickes then added [on the conference call] that it would be “presumptuous” to assume that these uncommitteds would go for either candidate, and that these delegates would “get a lot of attention” from both campaigns. -MSNBC's First Read

Savor that, if you will.

HILLARY'S CAMPAIGN LIKES VOTES SO MUCH, THEY'LL TAKE THEM ALL

Now, Clinton got 55.2% of the voters-too-stupid-to-stay-home in Michigan. Ickes is arguing that she could get a LOT more than 55.2% of the elected (pledged) delegates ...

Yahoo! Pick up a gun, everybody let's have some fun!

Let me just be the first to say that Saddam used to get 99% of the vote ...

IT'S NOT JUST PLEDGES - MIND THE SELECTION BIAS

I read somewhere - unconfirmed - that the Obama campaign had not been involved in vetting delegates in Michigan, as is typical.

Some of these delegates end up on the committees that make up the convention, as I understand it. As we know, those committees might be important.

One wonders if the fight isn't really about this smaller set of say-so people, who they support, and expanding the pool of "favorables" in order to get a good "rules" vote or something.
