Thnk Fast

If you read this sentence, what would come to mind?

A recent study by economist Ben Scafidi (pdf) found that single parenthood and family dissolution costs California taxpayers $4.8 billion a year.

  • A) A truism that a clever economist got paid to "study", because spreading fixed costs, like housing costs, always helps
  • B) A tomb on making deadbeat dads pay their child-support
  • C) Another government study that justified itself

If you answered yes to any of those, you'd be wrong. Somehow, it's an indictment of marriages for gay people.

I know. Logic is not required when it comes to "the gays".

UPDATE: n.b. the Alliance is an ARIZONA-based conservative group. So much for "overturning" California democracy.
