AFA, CWA ... all MIA this week, right?

APRIL IS CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH

If ever there was a chance to see how vacant the slogans at the AFA and CWA are, this might have been the week for it.

Like many, I've been watching with jaw dropped as temple-sex shows up on ... our ongoing national drama from Texas, in all its forms (Texas was so much in the news this week). This is real-world temple-sex, with minors, maybe even ritual sex but certainly not recreational sex, not Madonna-music-video suggestiveness or 'handsome Jesus' competition or some random last-supper poster from Folsom.

The AFA and CWA websites, they are silent. As Joe notices, their chief concern is now the horrible scourge of - wait for it - hotel porn ...

What's more, early this week had one of the most horrible child-abuse stories that I've read in a long while. I went to try to find it, but there are just too many in the search engine!

During Child Abuse Prevention Month, the AFA and CWA have strapped themselves in so tightly, their "concern" looks more like blinders on an old mule.
