Hannity's America - Inspiring Death Threats and Bombs, Now

FIRE-AT-WILL POLITICS IN THE HANNITY FREE-FIRE ZONE

If Rev. Wright is not exaggerating, the decision of FOX and ABC News to run wildly distorting clips of sermons at the Trinity United Church has inspired death threats and bomb threats. (There is, of course, a long history of bombing churches in America).

The rest of Wright's charm offensive is quite a pushback to a lot of people who could be embarrassed for their stridency, now.

Pity Tucker Carlson - his "proper" Rector and his bow-tie dignity - is "walking out" on Pslam 137, I guess, alongside Hillary "My Very Public Personal Opinion" Rodham. Blech.

Heck, even George Bush has talked on National Television about there having been "a lot of blood lust" at the mound in the week after 9/11.

AN OKAY START, BUT NOT PEREMPTORY

Still, there are loose ends, on and off the page, if you will; and you can bet that there will be "clips" from Wright's sit-down with Moyers that will be run to feed into the GOP script. I can see three, already. (I won't say, because I won't do their work for them, that's for sure).

What's more, it's not a systematic approach, so it will not come close to being peremptory.

Wright has two more speaking engagements. This is getting so risky it's hard to watch ...
