Carter, No Reason for a Sad Face

The problem with Bernard-Henri Levy is that ... he's got nothing.

Israel didn't want the Hamas in the elections, but they went along with U.S. pressure. Now, it's all Carter's fault?

Given the Administration's...lack of vision (which one could easily translate into Levy-speak as "disastrous moral mistake"), what does Levy have on offer?

If we empty the space for people to talk to each other "unofficially", whether in open or furtively, because of an empty threat issued in Dublin in 2007, for instance, then what is the way forward? Does Levy want re-occupation of Gaza?

No. An abiding, even visible, commitment to "talks", despite circumstance, is key.
