Immigration Reform, as a Gay Rights Issue

If HRC were more than a financial wing for the Democrats, they'd be pushing this proposal on the Dems right now. Many moderate Republicans might support it. -AS

Who ARE they, these moderate Republicans?

A SAMPLE CASE: COUNTING THE VOTES, FOR THOSE WHO DARE

Here are the folks who are co-sponsors if Rep. G. Nadler's immigration reform bill, listed for easy of reference by state and including their party. This was a hard list to compile, since it spans two Congresses, the Bill having been introduced in the last session.

The "vote" count, which some gay-Conservatives apparently don't want to do in favor of a dreamscape their own, is 111 Democrats, 3 GOP, and 1 Independent. Wait. Two (2) of the GOPers did not make it to the current 110th Congress, making the count ONE (1) GOP out of two-hundred and two (202). ... !
