WE PROMOTE, YOU SHUT UP
"We promote - you decide", has to be one of the best headlines of the day (in an observation from Mark Halperin, who's good at observing these things).
Today, FOX's Shep got visibly animated at the injustice done by Democratic officials ("Who are they to ...") to the Florida and Michigan voters.
That Republicans might be disenfranchising the states never crossed his biased mind.
In truth, the RNC has penalized Florida, as follows:
"National Republican party officials have decided to count only half of the delegates from Florida as a penalty for holding its primary earlier than allowed. All of the remaining 57 delegates will be awarded to the candidate with the most votes statewide." -NYT
With McCain desperate to hold onto Florida as it looks very nearly 'in play' this year, you can understand why GOP-TV has been aggressively out in front of the curve, promoting the view that "it's all Democrats' fault".
