On deck:
-A patriotic, regressive "Gas Tax"
-"Compromise" on wealth-transfer taxes (remember, we are in the midst of the largest inter-generational wealth transfer in the history of the Republic, so it is important that it be done without the meddlesome middle class involved). Cue propaganda: "farm families facing the death tax"
-More reckless trade pacts (even Obama doesn't clue in on this and was ripe to "compromise" even during the 2008 election)
-Allow companies to pay bribes to get business overseas, because "everyone is doing it"
What am I missing? Did I say gas tax, gas tax, gas tax, gas tax?
-No end to the Bush-Cheney era of legally pumping billions of gallons of frak water, in mindless - mindless - pursuit of natural gas.
-An attack on Federal government employees like you haven't seen before
I blame myself, too. I didn't realize that Obama didn't put his campaign tax law promises into the economic stimulus package.
