I'm still counting the number of comments like, "My new Senator/Governor/Representative is a vicious homophobe".

[Update: I'm not going to downplay election wins in which Andrew finds heart, but I'll take a supreme court justice (or three) over even a representative amount of gays in office, any day, given the lack of political power that gays as a minority have. I have no idea what 'even in Kentucky' means - gays can shoot straight, too. *chuckle*]
