ANOTHER WELL DELIVERED SPEECH
On the heels of last night's exceptional performance, Obama wowed AIPAC this morning with a very well delivered speech.
He hit all the right cords.
Two important nitpicks, however.
The phrase "the Palestinians must be made to understand that..." just has to be scratched out (for everyone). It's an empty phrase for an un-rationalized prescription.
Obama's staff should have him stop repeating "..wipe Israel off the map". Even the Israelis recognize that this was never said by Ahmadi-Nejad. It was the wrong translation, that has gotten repeated enough so that it is now "accepted lore/myth", much like the one about Saddam kicking out the weapons inspectors (never happened that way).
Update: I'll never line up behind "last, best hope" stuff. I hated it when Romney used it and it's not better from Barack.
