The Untouchables

"C"hemical, "B"iological, and "R"adiological

The ruling class will wrap up the Nation's secrets under FISA, basically exonerating the Bush Administration from any wrongdoing by making further court inquiry impossible.

The effectiveness of these programs, rather than their ideological import at the polls? So far as we can tell, close to zero at a cost of over $40 billion annually ...

Liberty and freedom can be traded out in the open. It's hard to imagine what is so "super double secret" about these surveillance programs. The FBI worked against the mob and everyone knew that phones could be wiretapped. It's just not clear that super-secrecy matters.
