Breaking: Congress Finally Says "No" to Bush on National Security

DEMS PASS FISA UPDATE WITHOUT BUSH-ERA PROTECTIONS

It appears that, for a few days at least, we won't be trading liberty-for-security in secret.

Bush's last piece of legislation to shield himself and his illegal-order creators and followers appears to be getting a spirited challenge in the People's house.

Bush has won every fight to keep the prologued, violent nation-building effort in Iraq going.

He has won every fight on what amounts to torture immunity for himself and others.

This is George's last push to skate off into the sunset, as James Baker (one of the most competent politicians in American history) once observed of his own time in office, without ever having been cleanly/clearly indicted, in the People's court or otherwise.
