Unless You are Perfect, The Gays Will Ultimately Turn on You

Why defend Bill for not including progress on gay inclusion (or attempted progress) in his memoir (I haven't read it, but it appears he's left out many things)? We do know, however, that he had to cut it significantly, to get it to just 935 pages.

But, you know, this kind of comment is self-defeating: "the Clintons' approach to gays in their time in the White House in one phrase: 'It's the economy, faggot.'" The message to gay-friendly politicians? If you cannot give "the gays" everything, don't bother with them, because it will end with serious recriminations.

Whatever the case, I've come to the realization (late) that Bill is likely going to be a marginal character in Hillary's White House. She is running things and she is making policy. The idea of two-for-one is a real fallacy.
