Time Has Passed Florida By

Period.

The timeframes are too tight to arrange anything now, short of a full re-do.

By the way, Governor Charlie Crist ought to be disqualified from the VP sweepstakes, as the Governor who signed a law that disenfranchised so many voters in his State, yes? How can he hold himself out as a candidate for all the people, for all Americans?
The margin for "failure" is zero.

What if there are problems and fraud and a lawsuit? You think there is "chaos" now? How long will it take a court to hear the issue are rule on it?

What happens if "benefactors" raise $10 million, but there is a problem printing or mailing or something, and not enough money or time to "fix" it?

Sorry, but the time to address "the Florida problem" has passed.

By the way, Governor Charlie Crist ought to be disqualified from the VP sweepstakes, as the Governor who signed a law that disenfranchised so many voters in his State, yes? How can he hold himself out as a candidate for all the people, for all Americans?

Update: Even 'compromises' are problematic, requiring a three-step process to clear the Dem Party Rules (Ambinder).
