Victor Davis Hanson, smug to the hilt, turns himself into a familiar looking "Conservative-Patriot" troll:

[...naughty Negro! Real Americans, like those in my courtly church, don't use the bible to criticize the country.]
Thousands of fellow-citizens in black churches across America should tell their children they cannot be President, someday, because of it, and more-or-less just do us all a favor by spilling their guts in an empty field, I guess, so that we can just get on with the glorious parts of America.
Of course, we could also realize that out of great division come people who have genuine insights into how much those divisions need cure and the ability to fashion a sense of it and, yes, a candidacy that is worth believing in.
Because the truth that VDH will never be reconciled to is that Obama can likely move racial attitudes faster in this country than he ever can, than the GOP ever can.
