HOPING FOR BLOOD ON THE FLOOR
It was easy enough to read when Tucker Carlson was doing it (he's so transparent). AS has been doing it, regularly.
So many of them want this election totally to erase, to eviscerate "the Clintons", who so successfully vexed the Right, smack in the middle of the Reagan Devolution in the 1990s.
Hillary ought to choose her battles wisely, because there are a dwindling few, like me, who are willing to hold the line against this nastiness.
Although in fairness, I have to say that there are plenty in the media and the punditocracy who are getting pushed around, as AS's reader really nails it:
On the 'elitist' debate: I've been amused to see the likes of Bill Kristol, Roger Kimball and Rich Lowry and other conservative [and compliant liberal?] commentators so incredibly desperate in their efforts to convince people like me that we're being looked down upon by Obama ... ... Rather, I feel the elitists are those highly educated, inside-the-beltway weenies like Kristol, the bow-tie wearing Kimball, the UVA grad and prepster Lowry who are tripping over themselves to tell me how offended I ought to feel when I know damn well I'm not offended.
