"(1) political clout; (2) pop-cultural resonance; (3) individual wealth; and (4) current personal profile."
Today, Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson going for a skinny dip is "gay news" yet it's homophobic to joke that innocent sounding Rick Astley is gay.
