I think it's time that we start awarding a "Geobbel's Prize" to the politician with the scariest scenarios (Rupert Murdoch should be taxed to fund it?).
Either that, or a new FEC "Terror Alert" scale for candidates, including "Blood Orange", "Really Mean Red", "Cool Blue", "Too Mellow Yellow", and "Moral Surrender Green".
