Hug a Mexican

From Kos:

That's what has Democrats all around the nation spooked, and what has led Rahm Emanuel to urge Democratic candidates to run Right on immigration.

Yet tonight, in Virginia, Republicans based a huge chunk of their campaign on the anti-immigrant message.

And they got crushed. Just like anti-immigrant Republican all around the country did in 2006.

The Dems can and ought to "win" from the left or mid-left on immigration.

What the GOP has done to move the opinion polls so far is just so despicable that it cannot stand up to inspection, except in the case that it is allowed to proceed un-checked.

ELLIOT SPITZER - PROTECTING AMERICA

Rudy has no where to go on this issue in the national elections, if he becomes the nominee, because he's supported bringing people out of the shadows in NYC.

Channeling Juan Cole, AS asked for the youTube debates, "Would you have [gay] sex with a man if it stopped a terrorist attack?"

So the Left can come up with it's own "ticking bomb" questions: "Would you issue some drivers licenses, if it stopped a terrorist attack?"

[I have some others for the GOP candidates: "If a nuclear device went off and you didn't know who was responsible and had no way of finding out, would you retaliate against Iran, as part of the 'usual suspects'"?
