Weak National Defense From Dem Candidates

I didn't like what I heard from the Dem candidates on the nuclear bomb question or violating Pakistani sovereignty.

'TAKE HIM OUT'

Basically, no one put this in the larger context of fighting jihad and the plan to 'restore Americas standing'. Brazenly trampling Pakistani sovereignty weakens moderates there, it doesn't strengthen them.

No one asked Obama, after he explained his very rational position, "What happens if you are wrong? We've had bad intelligence before, right?" In other words, he's fallen into the same trap he's set for others about the Iraq war, just on a smaller scale. Only Hillary's experience lead her to this line of thinking, but she didn't go far enough (I don't think).

Last, there is very little evidence that Musharaf is unwilling to kill OBL (or detain him, heaven forbid), even if some others are not. They've been trying to kill him, too, yes? He's motivated ...

NUCLEAR TERRORISM

Despite all their reported preparations, none of the candidates had a commanding address of this question.

It's sad.

1. How to calm the nation after a terrorist attack, if one is suspected
2. Homeland security preparedness - no way that we're ready to handle a nuclear fallout cloud in the USA
