AS Still Punting On Hate Crimes Legislation

I wish the gay community were as supportive of the First Amendment now as we were then. Before the hideous overhang of "hate crime" laws. -AS

AS gets this wrong and brings to mind his infamous moment of having his bogus screed inserted into the Federal Register last year, by those against the Matthew Shepard Act.

There is no "chilling affect" on free speech from hate crimes laws. In fact, the bulk of the existing legislation came onto the books after the Supreme Court made that abundantly clear, over ten years ago, now.

You may want to put some clothes on, if you are going to bash the gay community's aspirations today, eh?
