AS wants us, once again, to fear the GOP (cf. "The Republicans Are Relieved" that they may get a chance to run against Clinton).
I don't know. How 'bout you? I'm done with the politics of fear. Let 'em "bring it", if they must.
Something tells me that Obama is raising a teflon shield that is far larger than himself or that he alone can control to his advantage, so that the Regnery-boosted, historical-recrimination attack strategy is going to backfire all throughout 2008.
[By the way, that is why I am personally worried for him, as he heads South. Everyone who has a pulse can feel that type of infectious excitement and it is very dangerous, as we know, to politicians who have tapped into it, because some people find it personally threatening, profoundly destabilizing.]
