I'd be all for it, if "Allow-me" (Allawi) comes with some pre-fabricated deal with the Sunni minority. Can he do the back-room politics required?

Have you noticed that it seems impossible to temporize in Arab politics? One is either all for something or all against it. "Transition period" seems almost an impossibility.
