Are there more Republicans or Democrats associated with the least efficient power plants in the country?
The answer is a mixed bag.
Across the board, there are more Republican Senators associated with the current states that have the least efficient plants for CO-2, SO-2, and mercury pollutants.
The story is a mixed bag for Governors and Lt. Governors.
Of course, some of these officials are new to the congress, so they may not have contributed to the problems, even if we might think of them as responsible for prompting change, in various ways.
