The Limits of the Media

The tax discussions were very thought provoking - how could anyone have complained about them? -a reader

Er, that'd be me, guilty as charged. FTR, it was good to have some of the nuances of how regressive/progressive a the current tax regimen outlined. However, a bulletin-board or a threaded format is best for back-and-forth. I, for one, left off the tax discussion, because there was too much reconstructing to do.
