A Tale of Two Seatings

Burris gets his seat, but Franken doesn't.

I'm not sure why the Senate didn't fight more to have Franken seated (and delay Burris).

If anything, the Franken-Coleman fight appears to confirm that America has yet to be able to run a close election, fairly.

Isn't that an indictment of the Bush years, to some large extent?

As for the law, hasn't eight years of GOP taught the Democrats that the law is ... situational?
