Caligula's Senator


Pity Roland Burris and the people of Illinois, but the Senate appears that it will have to accept The Will of Blago.

It's okay. We know the Senate is getting less and less ... er, select.

And if you believe, as do many, that the Senate is driven by lobby money, two-sides of the same coin, then ideological boundaries are nothing more than ... a seniority chart, as anything serious.

Afterall, is Burris more "tainted than, say, Lieberman? Vitter? Angelo's friends?
