Well, here's something else for him to worry about.
Thesis:

These tensions are eventually going to surface.
It's not clear how Obama, who may not be perfectly suited to do so (but that's another question), can enter into that discussion in a substantive way, without getting dragged into a no-win melee. He may have to remain "meta" and that's going to be a very hard needle to thread ...
