The Level Playing Field

No one likes someone who complains about the referees, but everyone does it.

Still, on a blog that titles two strings "The Red Phone Ad", when no mention in the ad was ever made of a "red phone", one has to wonder at the knee-jerk outrage over a Clinton.

Besides, isn't it kinda silly to make a choice based solely on the Iraq vote in 2002? Barack had good judgment about Saddam, when the rest of his party did not. However, Saddam is dead and no one is planning to take the American people on a new nation-building exercise, soon. Can we say, judgment we won't need from day one?

Meanwhile, if you are making a decision about who is around to pick up a phone, no one among the candidates wonks harder or longer hours than does Clinton.

Even during the campaign, she's been around for more Senate votes than either McCain ... or Obama.

Even during the campaign, she's been around for more Senate votes than either McCain (who's missed the most) or Obama, who is considerably behind her (not overwhelmingly, but considerably).
