Item:

Rush Limbaugh is reported to be auctioning off his letter from Senator Reid, condemning his remarks about "phony soldiers", as an 'in your face' move worthy perhaps of Delay. [The original copy of the letter was provided to him by his friend, the CEO of Clearchannel.]

Item:

White House Officials turn out to participate in a the smear campaign against the family Frost, who appeared on behalf of the S-Chip program, posting alongside vitriolic bloggers. Update: the Staff of Majority Leader participated too.

Item:

Bill O'Reilly makes racially offensive comments in describing his trip to Harlem and blames those who point it out as running a smear campaign against him.

Item:

Pat Buchanan, deep in the throws of 'immigrant diseases', is left unaccountable for a kind of mis-use of public health standards, a misuse similar to that leveled against gays and lesbians in the decade before to stir-up prejudice and justify all manner of outright hatred and chilling policy prescription.
