I AM NOT A SURROGATE
I'm sick of this stuff about "surrogates" and so forth.
I'm a citizen - so are You.
In a real Republic, there is no higher calling, is there?
They ALL work for us, for the public good, and I have gravely serious responsibilities.
If that's what you mean by "support them", then o.k. The rest is noise (except that part about we are the change we seek).
[And you go, Andrew, call them all from feeling sorry for themselves and back on the march. It's really easy during a campaign to get into a bunker mentality, so forgive them, too.]
