Barbarians at the HRC Gates, Again

It's always funny to see professed 'conservatives' complaining about money - I thought that was for "p.c." liberals to do?

Suddenly, AS is on the side of the no-money, "little guy", which sets up the punchline:

Money. The main focus of the Human Rights Campaign. -AS, in derision of a decision based on financial viability

LOL. This from the guy who thinks it's o.k. to ration healthcare access based on money and thinks that "socialism will always fail", probably because it doesn't have the proper attitude toward money. Condones oil-profit windfalls, from wartime profits, even.

Something smells, to borrow a phrase. Based on the prior rants, one can guess that it is harboring negative animus toward the HRC ...

I wonder how much of this the HRC will take or if they are keeping a dossier on this nonsense.

ARE THE HRC BASHERS THE WORST KIND OF SPOILERS?

I'd rather have a few candidates talk for four or five - or even seven - minutes about their view on what they will do, on a variety of issues, rather than offer up soundbites. The best way to facilitate that is with serious back-and-forth. It's not clear that "Sam Donaldson"'s hard-hitting style is what is needed to get the whole truth. Why is a conversation with Melissa Ethridge so abjectly poor? The HRC director has been talking to political candidates for a long time, although I don't know his whole background. Why is he disqualified by some citizens before I even hear how he handles himself?

How useful is it to keep trying to 'extract promises' from national political candidates, a view of some Washington gays?

I continue to feel that the central focus on this is just the political equivalent of a beltway push-up bra.

Move the numbers, Change the World, I say... No shortcuts available.

MISSING WHAT IS UNDER YOUR NOSE, WITHOUT STRUGGLING

Of course, the real story isn't the HRC. It's about the missing GOP, but you won't see the HRC bashers talking about making sure there are clear indications who the real empty-headers are!:
The one photo the GOP does not want anyone to see was snapped at yesterday's [July 12th's] NAACP GOP Presidential Candidate Forum. The NAACP invited all 9 Republican candidates to the forum, but only one showed up: Tom Tancredo. All the Democratic Presidential hopefuls showed up for their forum.
