David Blankenhorn, Redux

Some blog love for the Box Turtlers - I've shared what I know and can write off the top of my head on David Blankenhorn.

I wish I'd done more to know all of DB's anthropological musings, which have become influential perhaps in unintended ways; but, as I've written more eloquently elsewhere, I grew tired of being required to learn yet another field of study in the pursuit of fighting back ignorance, bigotry, and worse.
