(One part of Daschle's story that is weird is why a deal would be made with the hospital industry association. Wouldn't the more natural beneficiary of a deal be the insurance industry? So why lump the two, with "others"? What others? It leads one to think that these are loose recollections, rather than blow-by-blow account.)
At least the Senator from Aetna is finally falling on the rocks over his poor showing, in the health care debate and in delivering his Senate BFF from Maine on DADT...
