It seems to make the most sense for Dick Cheney to be talking to lawyers, at this stage.Yet, he's out with a 'no regrets' statement about it all, explained away as the necessary shortcuts to having been caught on 9/11, after which we were made "safe".

SCHIEFFER: Does it talk about planning for attacks or attacks that were actually stopped?
